As I sit here, reflecting on the recent photography experience I had, I can't help but be overwhelmed with a sense of awe and gratitude. It was a distinct honor and privilege to be asked to capture the doctoral graduate photos for Dr. Ulla Jackson. This incredible woman, amidst the chaos and uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, persevered and earned her degree in 2021. However, due to the restrictions and limitations brought upon us by the pandemic, she was unable to have her new graduate images taken.

About a week ago, something incredible happened. A Facebook post caught my attention—a post that revolved around love, commitment, and a surprise proposal. It was my fraternity brother, Diego, searching for a way to make this moment one they would never forget. They were traveling from sunny Florida to the charming city of Atlanta to make this vacation one for the books. And that's when I decided to step in and help, armed with my trusty camera and a heart eager to capture the magic.

There I was, standing in line at Sam's Club, minding my own business, when a wedding and event planner I had worked with in the past reached out. She needed a photographer for a wedding that very afternoon. The clock was ticking, and she needed me there in just a couple of hours.
